No experience needed, all levels and ages welcome! Share a delicious and healthy lunch that will be provided. Take the time you need for rest, introspection or to connect with fellow warriors. The afternoon brings a special embodiment workshop that invites us to explore what feels alive within our inner landscapes and encourages us to connect with our body’s innate wisdom and creativity through somatic practices, movement, expressive arts and the power of shared collective experience. To end the day, relax and reap the incredible benefits of our wood heated Finnish Sauna and cool off through invigorating river dips!

“Hi! My name is Claudie. I am beyond excited to be creating this Embodiment Retreat for women whose lives have been touched by Breast Cancer I was diagnosed 3 years ago at the age of 32. My journey has been one of many feelings, including strength, support, denial, grief, acceptance, self-love, beauty, sensuality, frustration, loneliness and gratitude, just to name a few. I have been practicing Yoga & meditation for 10+ years and has been an incredible tool for me to reconnect with myself and my body during my breast cancer journey. I am honoured to be bringing together a group of incredible women to celebrate their strength, beauty, resiliency and provide the time and space for self-love, self-care and connecting with other women in the community There is nothing more important and valuable than taking the time to connect with yourself, your body, your breathe, your heart and your spirit. I am looking forward to meeting you and sharing this space together. Much love.”

Emily has been teaching Yoga for over 10 years and has taught Yoga in L.A., California, Squamish and Victoria, BC and has also been a practicing Resonant healing + Somatic Coach for over 5 years. “My classes blend intuition and anatomy. Precise cues and present moment curiosity. I lead with poetry, play, and self-empathy. I teach to my tenderness and fierceness and I try with all my heart to teach to yours too.”
SARAH VARICHON
Sarah is a certified movement-based expressive arts therapy practitioner and received professional training as a Life/Art Process® facilitator at the Tamalpa Institute in California. She has been giving workshops in Toronto, Montreal, the US, Guyana and Spain for the last 5 years. “Movement is synonymous with life. Movement is personality and soul made visible, and dance is body, feelings, and imagination in motion. It’s a way for all people to live a more embodied and creative life - one that fosters healing and social transformation. Movement and dance are ways to express the full range of human emotion and to connect, deeply and authentically, to our truest selves.”
CANCELLATION POLICY
No one books a retreat with the intention of cancelling it, but unexpected events do occur. Please understand that KIND Yoga limits retreats to a small number of attendees to allow for a more personable, intimate experience and as a result exceptions cannot be made for any reason, including weather, injury/illness, or personal emergencies. Our Cancellation policies are as follows:
Cancellations within 30 days prior to the event will receive a full refund minus a 3% processing fee.
Cancellations within 14 days prior to the event will receive a 50% refund minus a 3% processing fee.
Less than two weeks prior to the event no refunds will be given.
